About Megan

Megan Burke is a nationally certified foot reflexologist with the ARCB, American Reflexology Certfication Board. She received her training at The The Open Center in Soho. Her journey leading up to reflexology includes a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Creighton University, a TEFL certificate program in San Francisco, and two years teaching English in Ecuador in Peru. In Seattle she began her training in Reiki with Kathy McNamara at Primary Peace and incorporates Reiki principles in her reflexology sessions. She enjoys how reflexology addresses all of our needs on an emotional, physical and spiritual level.

In 2012, she looks forward to adding hand reflexology to her list of services by becoming nationally certified in this amazing modality.

The Roots of Megan's Passion for Relexology

She supposes it all started because of the love of her Italian grandmother, Vivianna Riva. Megan and her siblings spent weekends at their grandma's house. They'd play outside all day. At dusk she'd recruit them one at a time to hop on the bathroom counter for a foot wash. Scrubbing and soothing grass stained dirty feet Vivianna radiated such joy and even gratitude. After a pat on the rear, they'd leave feeling refreshed and ready to relax into the evening (which included a meal made with love, of course!) This memory is ironically perhaps one of the reasons Megan has chosen the path of reflexology. She too gets such joy and sense of gratitude from the honor of touching another souls' feet. To know the work is part of Megan's clients' healing journey is a satisfying blessing.
